Here we go again...

Today I am trying to knit a pair of fingerless mittens.  I have made numerous pairs of Fetching.  Love the pattern.  Of course, I have usually altered the pattern to compensate for longer fingers and arms, by adding cabled rows.

This pair of mittens is being made with Woolease, (forest green heather), with size 6 dpns.

I cast on 40 stitches and have used a k4p1 ribbing pattern.  I knit this for 4".

Thumb gusset:

I started the gusset on the 3rd needle (the one with only 10 stitches).

  1. The first row: knit 4, pm, m1r, p, m1l, knit 4, p1, continue pattern
